Square Ventures Ltd (contractor company to oil companies mainly Total Energies, Vivo Energy and Oil Libya).

Accomplishments

1. Succeeded in building a positive HSE culture by changing the mindset of employees about HSE which reduced the number of accidents and incidents reported per year.
2. Closed incidents that had potential to cause accidents in over 20 petro station sites and 5 depot projects. These were completed with 4 fatalities and 23 accidents hence enhancing the company’s reputation.
3. Reduced risk and control hazards by 95 % by performing site audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
4. Ensured timely preparation and submission of safety documents, job safety analysis, equipment inspection reports.
5. Managed to complete various projects without lost time due to injuries because of my extraordinary supervisory skills.
6. Awarded severally as the best site HSE personnel in the company and my sites were the best HSE compliant. As a result, I have been sponsored to do different trainings.
7. Developed and implemented safety awareness communication and training for both management and staff.
8. Supervised sites and ensured timely competition of projects to a tune of 98% and within the expected quality and works specifications.
